Darcy Hall of Life Care, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in West Palm Beach, Florida, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“As the executive director, earning this five-star rating makes me even more proud of my team,” said Kesler Thelemaque. “It helps to demonstrate on paper the hard work and effort that they have been putting in every day. I believe my team was able to achieve at this level due to a strong supportive culture and buy-in from everyone. They deserve it because they are the best team I have ever worked with.”
The center received the rating on Oct. 16, 2016.
“Darcy Hall has put together a strong and dedicated team, and I am proud to see the focus and drive they have in bringing the facility to a new level of quality care,” said Stacy Valdivia, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Sun States Region. “They have grown in many ways and have worked so hard to get to where they are now.”
